Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 12, 2026  |  Version 1.3

1. Introduction

DeepGoon is operated by Chromegreen Media Limited ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Alberta, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information about you when you access or use the DeepGoon website located at deepgoon.com (the "Platform").

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

This policy complies with Canada's federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Where users are located in other jurisdictions, we also endeavour to meet applicable local privacy standards.

This Platform is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we discover that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Registration: Username, email address, and password (stored as a hashed value — we never store your plain-text password).
  • Profile Information: Display name, profile bio, and profile photo you choose to upload.
  • Uploaded Content: Videos, thumbnails, titles, tags, descriptions, and other metadata you submit when uploading content to the Platform.
  • AI Companion Data (Build-A-Bitch): Character customization choices, personality settings, backstory text, and chat history associated with AI companions you create.
  • AI-Generated Images: The images you generate, the prompt used to render each one, and its character attribute tags. Each image is stored against your account. Please note that generated images are published anonymously to our public gallery — see Section 6.
  • Comments: Text you submit in the comments section of videos.
  • Communications: Emails you send to us for support or inquiries.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages viewed, videos watched, features used, and interactions with the Platform.
  • Session Data: Login session identifiers stored in browser cookies to keep you signed in.
  • Device & Technical Data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and referring URLs collected via standard web server logs.
  • Age & Policy Acceptance: When you confirm you are 18 or older and accept our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, we log that acceptance together with your IP address, browser type, and the date and time, as a record of your consent.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not directly collect or store payment card numbers. Payment processing, if applicable, is handled entirely by our third-party payment processor.
  • We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data to advertisers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account and profile.
  • Serve, stream, and display content you and other users upload.
  • Power AI companion (Build-A-Bitch) functionality, including chat responses generated via third-party AI services.
  • Publish the images you generate to our public gallery. These are shown anonymously by default — without your username, profile, or account — together with their character attribute tags. The prompt text is never published. You may opt in to being credited by name in Profile → Settings. See Section 6.
  • Send transactional emails such as email verification codes, password reset links, and account notices (via Resend).
  • Process subscriptions and maintain access tier records.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service, including age verification and content moderation.
  • Operate our automated safety and moderation systems. Messages and image prompts are screened for content prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy; when an item is flagged, we record the content together with the violation category and a timestamp so we can enforce our policies and meet legal and payment-processor obligations.
  • Improve and maintain the Platform.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Comply with applicable law.

4. Data Storage & Third-Party Processors

We use the following third-party services to operate the Platform. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf and is subject to their own privacy and security policies:

ServiceProviderPurposeData Involved
Website HostingVercel, Inc.Runs and serves the website and its APIs; all page and API requests pass through VercelIP address, request logs
File StorageCloudflare, Inc. (R2)Stores uploaded videos and thumbnail imagesVideo files, images
DatabaseNeon, Inc. (cloud PostgreSQL)Stores user accounts, profiles, video metadata, comments, and AI companion dataAccount data, content metadata, chat history
Email DeliveryResend, Inc.Sends verification codes, password resets, and platform notificationsEmail address, email content
AI Chat EngineOpenRouterRoutes chat messages to third-party AI language models to generate AI companion responsesChat messages you send to AI companions
Text-to-SpeechElevenLabs, Inc.Generates AI companion voice audioText prompts derived from AI chat responses
AI Image GenerationRunPod, Inc. (cloud GPU)Renders AI companion images from your promptsCharacter image prompts

Cloudflare R2: Videos and images you upload are stored on Cloudflare R2, a cloud object storage service operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Content may be stored in data centers across multiple regions. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

AI Chat: When you interact with an AI companion, your chat messages are sent to OpenRouter for processing. Do not share sensitive personal information (such as your real name, address, or financial information) in chat sessions.

AI Image Generation: Character images are rendered by our image-generation pipeline running on third-party cloud GPU infrastructure provided by RunPod, Inc. The prompt assembled from your character selections is transmitted to that infrastructure solely to render the requested image.

Website Hosting (Vercel): The Platform runs on cloud infrastructure operated by Vercel, Inc. Every request to the site passes through Vercel, whose servers automatically process technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. Vercel's privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Web Fonts: The Platform's display fonts are hosted directly on our own servers. Your browser does not contact any third-party font service (such as Google Fonts), so no font provider receives your IP address.

5. Cookies & Session Data

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Session Cookies: To keep you logged in during your visit. These are deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent Cookies: To remember your active profile selection across sessions.
  • Referral Cookie: To remember which advertisement, link, or search engine brought you to the Platform, for up to 30 days. This records the campaign the link was tagged with and the website that referred you — never your identity or your browsing activity elsewhere. It lets us measure which of our own advertisements are effective. Visit and signup counts are aggregated on our own servers and are not shared with anyone.
  • Local Storage: To save preferences such as AI companion chat history, audio settings, and UI state on your device.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not track you across other websites. All of the above is first-party only. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, which will log you out of the Platform.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Service Providers: As listed in Section 4, with third-party processors who operate under data processing agreements.
  • Public Content: Content you upload as "PUBLIC" (videos, your username, profile photo, and comments) is visible to all visitors of the Platform.
  • AI-Generated Images (Public Gallery): Images you generate with the AI companion tools (Build-A-Bitch) are added automatically to the Platform's public gallery, where they are visible to all visitors, including visitors who are not signed in. By default they are published anonymously: your username, display name, profile photo, and account are not shown alongside them. Alongside each image we publish only the image itself and its character attribute tags (such as hair colour, body type, and outfit). The text prompt used to generate the image is never displayed publicly, whatever your settings. We retain an internal link between the image and your account so that we can operate moderation and honour deletion requests, but that link is not exposed on any public surface unless you turn on attribution, as described below.
  • Attribution ("Credit me on my snaps") — optional, off by default: In Profile → Settings → Public Gallery you may choose to be credited. If you turn this on, your display name and profile photo are shown next to your images in the public gallery. This setting is retroactive and applies to all of your images, including any generated before you turned it on. You may turn it off again at any time, which immediately removes your name and photo from every one of your images and returns them to anonymous. Attribution is off unless you switch it on.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DeepGoon, our users, or the public.
  • Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

7. Data Retention

  • Account Data: Retained while your account is active. When your account is deleted, your profile, your AI companions and their chat history, and your comments are removed within 30 days.
  • Uploaded Videos & Images: Retained until you delete them; deleting a video removes it from Cloudflare R2. Deleting your account does not by itself remove videos you posted to public areas — delete those first, or email us to request their removal.
  • AI Companion Data & Chat History: Stored per your account and deleted when you delete the companion or your account.
  • AI-Generated Images in the Public Gallery: Retained while your account is active. Because each image keeps an internal link to your account, deleting your account also removes the images you generated from the public gallery. You may also email us to request removal of a specific image.
  • Email Verification Codes: Expire automatically after 15 minutes.
  • Server Logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.
  • Moderation Records: When content triggers our moderation system, the flagged message or prompt, its violation category, and the timestamp are logged and retained as required to enforce our policies and satisfy legal and payment-processor requirements.

8. Your Privacy Rights

8.1 All Users

You may at any time:

  • Access and update your account information via your Profile page.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including password hashing, HTTPS encryption in transit, and access controls on our database and storage systems.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for breaches caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

If you suspect your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at support@deepgoon.com.

10. Age Restriction — No Minors

DeepGoon is an adult platform. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered an account, please contact us immediately and we will take action to remove their account and data without delay.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not direct our services toward children.

Our third-party service providers may store and process your information in the United States and in other countries where they operate. If you access the Platform from outside these countries, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed there. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
